OUR NOTICE BOARDS

To prevent inappropriate use our boards are all manual.  This means that when you send a message, it goes by form mail and has to be copied onto the site (and edited if necessary) by the webmaster.  It may therefore take a few days to appear.

The RAM members board

lists most of the RAM registered models, with brief descriptions and occasionally photos.  The entries are not advertisements.  They are comments by the webmaster, based on information given, plus what we know about models from seeing them at work, in the case of London members.  A free licence is required to access the models' contact details.

The 'Joblink' board

is for artists, tutors, colleges, art clubs or film & tv production companies anywhere in the UK, to advertise for models.  Job ads for life, costume and portrait modelling, photomodelling, life (body) casting, body painting and nude non-acting parts in film productions are acceptable, unless there is any hint of pornographic intention.

The Classes & Workshops boards

are where anyone in the UK can advertise their life drawing class or workshop.  Ads for classes and workshops are not accepted unless they are Bare Facts affiliated.  Bare Facts affiliated workshops pay models at least the RAM rate (currently £12 per hour) and employ only RAM members.  Workshops and classes may also be invited to audition models for RAM membership.  This has certain advantages and certain possible drawbacks.
