SURREY: I am looking for a female model to strike a number of poses in the style of Lady Emma Hamilton 'Attitudes'. This is a personal paid (not for publication) photographic project and is to experiment with lighting set-ups. (Examples of previous work with RAM models can be mailed to replies). I envisage a half day shoot at 60 pounds plus travel and refreshments either w/day or w/end. Costume dresses will be provided (size 8/10), but up to a level of semi nude would be appreciated once exact composition has been agreed between photographer and model. LONDON (East London): I am about to make a film in super slow-motion for my MA degree show. The film will involve around 5 - 10 seconds action of life models running/ competing/ scrambling/ sliding side-on past the camera, with a projected landscape image in the background. This will then be slowed down to last for around 2-3 minutes (I will be hiring the 'Photron' 1,000/ 2,000 frames per second super slo-mo camera). For the film's purposes, the models are fans of the main protagonist in my work and are competing to be the first to find him as he continues his journey through different terrains. The models would be wearing black mid-length wigs in his image. The film shoot will take around 2 hours and models would be paid for their participation, as well as for travel expenses; there will be refreshments on site. I would hope to have around 6 participants. All participants will also receive a copy of the finished film, which may also be shown in other exhibitions after the MA show.

SOUTH WALES and LONDON: Elegant slim female model required to be main model for a new project 'Icara', a photographic study borrowing insiration from the Icarus legend and melding human and avian forms. Quite a long project involving several shoots. May have to work with live birds of prey in studio so must not be afraid of animals. May require full or partial nudity though sometimes a body stocking may be used. To do this well you need to have dramatic beautiful features. Darker skin, oriental or Asian features etc could be an advantage due to tonal matches with feathered outfits! LONDON: We are a London based design consultancy who require models (both male and female) to work on an on-going photographic project. The project is a series of nude body shots of various body movements. The shots are very tasteful and in most instances, although nude, show little or abstract views of the body. You must, however, be comfortable with full nudity. Be able to work under direction. And be willing to work to a flexible schedule. Experience of dance and movement will be seen as an advantage. The Chapman brothers are well known artists, I would recommend researching their work if you don't know it as it's quite specific. The film is part animation part live action. She needs to have a beauty, but can also be made to look tired and unhealthy. She's meant to be playing a prostitute who is on drugs and lost her way. LONDON: I am an artist creating an installation which is partly based on the paintings of Edward Hopper. The scene will place a seated female figure looking out of the window of the 5th floor exhibition space. It will be downstairs in a pub, with restricted access, of course, to the people doing the life drawing session. BRISTOL: I wondered if you could circulate this amongst the female models on your mailing list who are based in Bristol and the South West - perhaps even London? It would be very much appreciated. It's a call out for women to participate in a performance happening in Bristol in May. The performance and process are about women coming together to celebrate the very nature of who they are, and all their differences,in a society where the emphasis is often on becoming and looking like something/someone else. BRIGHTON: I am organizing a two day shoot on 20th and 21st April in Brighton. I will need several female models who are happy to work at art nude levels. There won't be any poses to hold for long periods, or careful lighting to be set-up. It'll be relaxed, comfortable - and fun! The shoot will not be in a studio, but will be at an indoor location.
IMPORTANT: The models will be carefully selected, and I'll be in Brighton on 16th April to meet any models who'd like to get involved. I'm looking for confident women, who are comfortable with their bodies and equally comfortable naked. There isn't a particular look I'm after, so if you're interested please send me a link to your portfolio in an email and we can discuss the project. I will spend most of the 16th in a cafe in the centre of town so that those who are interested can come and have a chat. It's very important that I meet the models before the shoot, so I hope you'll be able to make the 16th.

BRISTOL: I am a photography student and I need to find models (aged 50+), male or female, that I can photograph for my final degree project. Partial nudity (top half) is required as per the specifications of the project. This is a genuine request and any participants would be greatly appreciated. LONDON (Central): We need a male and female life model to take part in the Embarrassing Bodies programme for Channel 4. Ideally we would like models between 25 – 45 with average height, build, body and preferably no cosmetic adjustments. Successful applicants will model naked whilst one of the Embarrassing Bodies doctors demonstrates how to check particular body parts for signs of cancer. Our Male applicant will be given a testicular check performed by one of our doctors and the female applicant will be given a breast check also performed by one of our doctors. The doctors will make physical contact with the models whilst demonstrating the technique (all external). Filming will take place on the evening of Wednesday February 10th in a central London studio. Applicants must be available to work over a 5 hour period and will be asked to model during short periods of time throughout. EDINBURGH : I am looking to work with a confident lady to help complete my portfolio. Although based in Sutherland, I spend more time in the central belt and would ideally like to work with a model in Edinburgh or the surrounding areas. Experience is not as important as a willingness to be as natural as possible and full training can be provided to the right person. My ideal candidate would be between 24 and 40 and of average height and dress size although this is not as important as the right attitude. Additionally, I am looking for my model to be supple and this position would therefore be most suitable for someone who has studied or currently practises yoga or even ballet. Please note that some degree of nude work is involved but only in a very discreet way. I can work from my model’s own home if this would be preferable and also happy that a chaperone is close by, providing they do not interfere with the shoot. I am willing to offer rates of up to 150% of normal Register of Artists Models (RAM rates) and would anticipate that the first session will be at least 3 hours long.

LONDON (New Cross) : I am looking for two male models to take part in a performance at a college this Wednesday 9th Dec at 11am. The performance would consist of posing in a gallery space for 10 minutes. The pose will mimic a Spencer Tunick pose based on one of his photographs (most likely floor based- either lying or curled up). I would like the models to be white, average build and aged between 25 and 50.
Payment would be 30.00 per model and I would require you to be present between 10 and 11 15am. There will be no heaters or mats so please only reply if you are comfortable with that (remember it is only for 10 mins). Please note, the performance will take place as part of an assessment, so the audience will be between 6 and 8 MA tutors. I would notify them of the duration of the performance beforehand, and would speak to you before to clarify any details regarding your role as well as meet you in the morning to discuss / show you around etc.

LONDON: Female artist requires female model, for semi-nude shoot which will involve body painting. The model needs to be between 19- 27 years old, preferably light tan skin tone. Dress size up to Size 12, chest/ bra size between 32C - 34D. Only the painted breasts will be visible in the final shot. This is a contemporary art project, with a very tight budget, but I am very happy to pay expenses and for 1-2 hour's work too, depending upon rate of pay. The model would have to be comfortable working without nipple shields, due to the requirements of this piece. I will be photographing the piece as well as painting, but will be accompanied by a female assistant.

LONDON : We are currently producing a series for Sky One called Naked Britain. It will explore contemporary cultural attitudes to nudity, in three different contexts: Art, Nature and Naughtiness. The series will look at why it is acceptable to be naked in certain places and spaces and not in others and ask why this has changed over the years. It will also compare representations of nudes in classical art to how naked and semi-naked bodies are now used to sell and advertise. We'll also explain the legal restrictions put on where one can and cannot be unclothed, we'll look a nudity as a form of political protest and compare British and European attitudes to baring all. We are looking to film two life models - one male and one females for half a day - filming is scheduled for the 7th of October in Central London. We can also provide a fee.

I expect my models to use some guidance but to also use their own initiative as much as possible. Usually, what poses are comfortable for you are usually the best, as they it looks more natural. In other words, my models enjoy the freedom to explore what is natural to them. I hold the classes on Thursday nights 7.15-9.15pm ( Quick and medium long poses) and Saturday afternoons 12.00- 2.00pm ( Long pose, for a continution of three - four weeks). I am particularly looking for female models as I do already have many brilliant male models. Call me if you are interested!

I need two females and one male, one female and male being mature age 40s -60s, other female early 20s or of a young petite physique , 4- 6 hours or more on Friday September 11 2009. The photography session will take place inside my school's photography studio, located right off Marylebone High Street. There may be one or two other people in the room helping me with setup/ lighting. This piece is in no way an erotica shot but meant to show the every day placings of the body in a family setting around the dining room table. Definitely a fine art piece. LONDON (Dulwich)or SURREY (Epsom): I have a photoshoot I am casting for at the moment that I require 2 models for (1 male and 1 female). Both have to be over the age of 65 . I have had great trouble finding suitable models for this particular shoot because of the age range. This is a personal shot that I will be using for self promotion but is paid and am willing to discuss fees with suitable candidates. I am a professional photographer based in London and the shoot will take place in a location house in Surrey (either Dulwich or Epsom). The shoot will involve implied nudity but nothing will be shown in any images but obviously anyone uncomfortable should not apply.

LONDON (Wimbledon): Hi I have a small art class and, on occasion, I also offer Life Drawing Hen parties. These are small (10-15 ladies)tasteful, parties which provide an alternative to the usual hen party milarky and usually take place on a Saturday afternoon. The poses are generally short with the longest being 10 mins. I am seeking a professional, reliable, fairly attractive male life model who would enjoy the experience of posing for these parties. It is slightly less formal than a normal life class but completely above board and fun. Obviously there is a certain ammount of banter and having the personality to match would be an advantage. Please let me know if you think you would enjoy/ suit the bill.

GLOUCESTERSHIRE (near Stroud): Clothed Artist’s Model Required Near Stroud . The project period is from Monday 27th July to Friday 14th August, Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5pm. The applicant must provide their own transport to Edgeworth, which is located approx.10 miles from Stroud and be fit enough to hold a pose for the above hours for an artist who is painting a full length portrait. Lunch will be provided and there will be regular breaks. The rate of pay will be at £280 per week hence the total remuneration will be 3 x £280 = £840. ASHFORD (Kent) : This is the 3rd year of the UK Body Painting Festival. Last year's was successful, this year's is bigger and better and at a new nicer location. Held on Saturday the 22nd and Sunday the 23rd of August 2009, showers and camping on site, family's are welcome welcome Ashford in Kent in the UK. We are looking for models (Male and Female all sizes and shapes) to be body painted, Nudity is not required, models will wear a minimum of a G string and nipple shields. Models should go online (details in password protected area), fill out and read both the model release form and the application form. We are mainly seeking Volunteer models, those who only want paid work, should indicate this on the form. Please bear in mind this is a great chance to work with some of the UK best body painters whom will be working to very high standards.
